What is “Friendsgiving?” What is wrong with “Thankskgiving?”

    • Ajah

It’s when people who can’t have thanksgiving with their family get together and have their own Thanksgiving. For me Thanksgiving is Thanksgiving I don’t care who it’s with.

  • Allergy Concerned

The first couple of recipes include garbanzo beans. Many people with peanut allergies are also allergic to various forms of beans, since peanuts are a legume (bean) not a nut. Always safest to advise guests of every ingredient in a recipe rather than just say that it’s “nut-free.”

    • Joannej

Yep, you’re so right. That’s a great point.

    • Ajah

That would suck if someone nearly died because they were not aware of that fact.

Please give some attention to those of us who must follow a low-sodium diet. It’s a bit tricky and it’s not NO salt so it makes things challenging at times. Thanks!

Great food ideas…please keep them coming…

These meal suggestions should be “plagued.” Lol! On a more serious note, it’s good to see alternate options for those who are dieting, have high blood pressure, or vegan

  • Ajah

A lot of these would not go well with my people. Well I supposed if you’re trying to stay tight and right through the holidays hopefully these should help.

  • Annie Wiens Oper

Thanks! Lots of great options for me! I will definitely incorporate several of these this year. I am on target for Bariatric surgery in December, so this will help me stick with my healthy diet.

Double check the recipes for allergens. The “Dairy Free” Baked Zucchini Sticks contain cheese. This could be deadly to those with a milk allergy if their friends make it and tell them it’s safe.
