This vegan smoothie by 24 Carrot Life combines fresh (or frozen) cherries with chocolate. Healthy enough to be breakfast and sweet enough to pass as dessert, it satisfies sweet and chocolate-y cravings without being a calorie bomb. At 116 calories per serving, this smoothie is indeed splurge-worthy.

Black Forest Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (42g) frozen or fresh pitted cherries
  • 1 and 1/2 cups (341g) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 2 tablespoons (11g) cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 2–5 ice cubes, or until desired consistency reached

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth.

Serve immediately.
