Why is spinnach ‘super’? Is it really super, or merely a ‘food’ that someone tried to tart up for the sake of selling copy?

48g! Where is all the sugar coming from, the dates?

  3. Avatar arsalak says:

Wow, it has 48 grams of sugar in it. I would not eat it for the life of me. 525 calories is a lot for a simple salad. I would rather add a baked mackerel or salmon instead of the dates.

  4. Avatar Ynot says:

The sugar is coming from the maple syrup. Try substituting sugar free maple syrup instead for a lower calorie alternative.

I agree! it’s alot of sugar for one meal. The carbs are high too. Sugar and carbs are not a good mix for me!

  6. Avatar Ailsa says:

    That’s one high calorie salad.
