  1. Er, shouldn’t these be called Chocolate Almond Butter bites? I mean, I know you said any nut butter… but you didn’t even use peanut butter?

    1. That’s because she was making them allergy-friendly… a lot of kids (and adults) can’t eat peanut butter.

      1. Well, she doesn’t explain that in the blog. Nor does that change the fact these aren’t “peanut butter”… or even nut free.

  3. when reading your recipe it was a bit confusing. your ingredients called for peanut butter but in your directions you used almond butter.

    1. But it’s a 2″ ball – If you made them half that size you could have two for the 120 cal ……

    1. How much did you use? Please share that info if you had a good recipe experience. Thank you

  4. I made these the other day, and my husband loved them. Made them again this morning and subbed flax meal for the oats for a more gluten/grain free treat. Also, used an old coffee scoop to create 1 inch balls. That’s a winner!

  13. Is there something else you can use besides bananas? Or just leave them out? Serious allergy to them

  14. Used flaxseed and some vanilla protein powder instead of chocolate chips and almonds~ very delicious! Thanks for the recipe!!

  15. It’s got honey and chocolate chips in it can you say sugar sugar sugar!!! My Fitness Pal please come up with recipes that don’t have SUGAR in them that taste good!!!!

  16. I made these and they were delicious! Thx a million for this recipe. It definitely satisfies my chocolate chip cookie addiction.

  17. Surely the measurements are wrong? I followed this recipe to the letter but the was no way my mixture was a dough! Even when squeezed together in my hands in desperation it was very dry and would not bind. Surely 1 cup of oats (240 grams) is way to much. .?

    1. I’m thinking the same thing… My dough is super dry and doesn’t have that nice gooey peanut butter-y look like the picture. It might depend on what type of ‘butter’ too. I used crunchy peanut butter, but maybe almond butter is smoother, thinner, and goes further?

  18. Omgosh people…. If u dont like it or agree simply move on. All these negative comments are completely unnecessary!

  19. I;m from the UK> Please translate into grams: 1/4 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup choc chips and 1/2 cup chopped almonds. thanks in advance
