Core work is all the rage these days—even if you haven’t completed any exercises that target the major muscles of the core (abdominals, lower back, hips, glutes) yet, you’ve likely heard about these workouts.

The core is the foundation of all movement. If you only have the time to complete one type of strength workout, core workouts are a great choice because they’re foundational workouts that will help you move better, get stronger, improve posture and even decrease back pain.

Kelly Lee’s foundational core workout was designed to increase your core strength, build a strong foundation, and create healthy movement patterns that you’ll use forever. All you need is a mat and an open space.

You’ll learn:

  • what it means to “engage the core”
  • which core exercises are ideal for beginners
  • how to perform core exercises safely and with good form
  • how to modify movements based on your fitness level
