Welcome back to The New Healthier You Fitness Plan. On day 6 of each week, we’ll focus on moving in a fun, freeing way.
We get so caught up in “serious” exercise when we’re focused on our goals, but having fun is a key component to any successful fitness plan. If you aren’t enjoying yourself at least some of the time, it’s hard to stick with a program over the long term—and we all know that consistency is the key to seeing results.
That’s why all I want you to focus on for today is getting moving and having FUN! Forget about how many calories you’re burning, and simply get out and have a great time. Schedule a date with a friend to learn how to swing on the trapeze, or take the kids ice skating. The more you are moving and laughing (or at least smiling), the better!
