Welcome back to The New Healthier You Fitness Plan. On day 5 of each week, we’ll focus on trying new things.

Try venturing outside of your comfort zone at least one day per week! Mixing up your routine helps beat boredom, keeps expanding your horizons, and adds to your skill sets.

One day per week, make it your mission to test out something new. Take a new-to-you class at your local studio or simply walk a new path through your neighborhood today. Need some more ideas? Why don’t you:

Don’t get too caught up in the planning or prep; just look at today’s assignment as a fun adventure. Feel free to invite a friend or family member along if you feel too intimidated to go solo. Do whatever you need to do to get comfortable with being a little uncomfortable! This is an important part of your journey that will contribute to your growth, especially if you make it a regular event.

Tell me, what did you do (or plan to do) today? Leave me a comment below and let me know what you chose to try out and how it went!
