This easy smoothie recipe from Eating Bird Food is packed with 24 grams of protein, thanks to peanut butter, almond milk and protein powder. You can easily customize it with your favorite nut butter or milk alternative. The spinach adds fiber and greens to your morning for a satisfying, filling smoothie.

Peanut Butter Green Smoothie

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 large frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (like Sun Warrior Vanilla Classic)
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) cold, unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or other milk)
  • 2 cups (30g) baby spinach

Directions
Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth, adding additional water until the smoothie is the texture and consistency you enjoy.
