In the October Member of the Month contest we wanted you to tell us how using MyFitnessPal had made you more aware of your health choices, and what lifestyle changes this new awareness had inspired you to make.

We got so many awesome responses, we wish we could make everyone a winner! Hearing about your commitment to your health journeys was both humbling and inspiring.

But there can be only one (per month), and the MyFitnessPal October Member of the Month is… Lacey!

In addition to the priceless gift of better health, Lacey will receive two Fitbug Orbs.

Here is Lacey’s story:

“My name is Lacey, and I found MyFitnessPal last December. I haven’t spent a day off since. This site has taught me that I can eat and not deprive myself and still be fit and healthy. So far I’ve lost 61 lbs and have 25 to go. I’ve always been overweight and out of shape and in 2011 I decided to get healthy but didn’t have much direction. I lost 60 lbs but then got pregnant and gained 80 pounds. I was devastated that I gained all my weight back plus some but when I found MFP it all changed. The calorie counter is fantastic and the community is great. Whenever someone asks me how I did it i tell them about MFP, and try to make them join right there and then. I cannot recommend this enough. Thank you so much!”

So thanks to Lacey and all of you who entered our October contest. Keep up the good work, and keep an eye out here and on Facebook for the November contest winner and details about future contests.

Healthfully,

The MyFitnessPal Team
