Here at MyFitnessPal, we know that leading a healthier lifestyle is a process – it takes patience and practice to develop new habits. It also requires awareness and knowledge of what you’re actually eating and doing (or not doing, as the case may be). That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we’re partnering with the Obesity Action Coalition’s Your Weight Matters campaign. Through Your Weight Matters, we’re challenging all Americans to learn how weight impacts health, measure their weight and start a healthy discussion with their healthcare provider. By taking the pledge, OAC will share tips, tricks, and questions to help you learn more about weight, nutrition, exercise, and working with your doctor to ensure you’re on track to accomplish your weight-loss goals in a healthy manner.

Visit www.YourWeightMatters.org for more information and use the hashtag #YourWeightMatters when you take the pledge! We’re so proud to be a part of the journey so many of you have begun towards a healthier lifestyle, and we want to continue to provide the best resources and tools available.

We’d like to encourage those of you in our community who are trying to lose weight to join the Coalition and take the Your Weight Matters pledge. By taking the pledge, you’ll receive the free campaign toolkit to help you talk to your healthcare professional and learn everything you need to know about losing weight safely. With these new resources and MyFitnessPal at your fingertips, we hope you’ll continue to be inspired to achieve your goals.
