Gym Rats Rejoice: Life Fitness Now Syncs with MyFitnessPal

Planning to hit the gym today? Well get pumped, because we have some fantastic news for you: MyFitnessPal has partnered with Life Fitness, making it possible for you to log your workout data directly from their connected fitness equipment.

You can now connect your MyFitnessPal account with your LFConnect account via the Life Fitness Connect website or MyFitnessPal.com. (Mobile connections are coming in early 2015, so stay tuned for that!) Once you’ve linked your accounts, you can automatically save your workout through the LFConnect app with a handy dandy QR code.

Once you’ve completed your workout on connected Life Fitness equipment—including the Treadmill, Elliptical, Recumbent Bike, Upright Bike, FlexStrider, and the PowerMill—the associated data will automatically be recorded to your MyFitnessPal Exercise Diary. From there, you can easily see how many calories you’ve burned…and whether or not you’ve earned a snack.

So hit the gym, get a workout in, and use the time you would have taken to log your workout in your MyFitnessPal diary to pick up a smoothie instead.
