If you’re a banana bread lover, you’ll go crazy for this gluten-free chocolate chip banana bread from Love and Zest! Enjoy a warm slice with a touch of butter and glass of milk – or just by itself. It’s that good.

Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 overripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon or allspice
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour (certified gluten-free if necessary)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare loaf pan with coconut oil and line with parchment paper.

In large bowl, mix brown sugar, bananas and eggs together. Stir in almond milk, vanilla, allspice, baking soda, baking powder. Slowly incorporate flour until blended completely.

Pour batter into loaf pan and bake 50-55 minutes.

Allow to cool in pan for 30 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
