Kale & Pear Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cups (134g) raw kale
- 1 large pear, cored and sliced into large pieces
- 1/2 cucumber, peeled
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 cup (35g) ice
- 3/4 cup (180ml) cold water
Directions
Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth, adding additional water until the smoothie is the texture and consistency you enjoy.

What is the actual carbohydrates? It says 568…???
Based on entering each ingredient into my lose it app it comes up with 34.5 carbs. (27.5 of that alone is the pear)

For Breckfast I make a Whey Protein smoothie. I add I scoop of whey to a cup of almond milk then add mix berries ( blueberries, raspberries, strawberries,blackberries), kale and 1 banana. Put all that in blender with 1 glass of ice and a little water. Gives me two glasses of smoothie to drink. Fells me up and stay full for at least five hours. I either have an apple with peanut butter for a snack.
don’t like the Pomegranate juice or just the fruit itself.
